Significant Changes to MUŻA’s Permanent Exhibitions
The art galleries at MUŻA – The National Community Art Museum – are undergoing a transformation as significant changes are introduced to its permanent exhibitions. In recent weeks, efforts have been concentrated on the first-floor gallery, with the primary goal of offering visitors a broader and more immersive experience of art in Malta.
Heritage Malta remains committed to ensuring that the museum’s permanent exhibition continues to evolve, preserving and showcasing the contributions of Maltese artists. These changes will also strengthen MUŻA’s role as an educational hub, telling the story of Malta’s artistic heritage and the influences that have shaped it over time. The restructuring follows a chronological approach, tracing art from prehistoric times to the 21st century.
